About us

Red Squirrel Accounting is a small, independent bookkeeping and accountancy business which has been operating since 2017. At Red Squirrel Accounting, we offer a wide range of services from day to day bookkeeping up to year end accounts and tax. The company services a wide range of clients from small, independent, self-employed businesses up to multi-million pound turnover companies. We work on a fixed monthly fee which incorporates all services provided so that there are no unexpected or surprise accountancy bills throughout the year. At Red Squirrel Accounting we pride ourselves on providing a friendly and personal service whilst still maintaining an appropriate level of professionalism. We have excellent relationships with our clients and like to touch base on a regular basis rather than just when the annual accounts are due. We use a range of accountancy software and are fully certified with Quickbooks, Xero and Dext.

Lana White

Lana has fifteen years experience working in bookkeeping and accounts. She began her career in a top 20 accountancy firm, Wilkins Kennedy, after she finished school. During her time with Wilkins Kennedy, Lana gained vast experience in a diverse range of departments, spending time working in accounts, audit, tax and management accounts. To further solidify her professional acumen, Lana completed her AAT qualification and CIMA qualification.

During the latter part of her time at Wilkins Kennedy, Lana founded and headed up a dedicated outsourcing department within the firm prior to leaving and setting up her own business in 2017. Lana founded Brenchley Bookkeeping which then progressed to Red Squirrel Accounting Ltd. Due to Lana's approachable, professional but simple approach to bookkeeping and accounting, Red Squirrel Accounting has grown and expanded to the company it is today.

Maria Brenchley

Maria spent 20 years in primary education attaining the level of assistant head teacher until she retired in 2016. Being somebody who thrives on a challenge and working closely within a team, she then moved to a part time administrative role within Kent Police recruitment.

Maria assists Red Squirrel Accounting with their administrative duties such as organising client portfolios and ensuring prompt communication is maintained. She also assists with some bookkeeping tasks and is currently continuing her professional development by undertaking an AAT bookkeeping course.
